Do you know this Micky Mouse in the picture was made by what? By the 3D printing pen beside it!
What 3D Printing Pen is?
It is a pen similar to a 3D printer and is much smaller and convenient to operate by people. Even children who are above 8 years will have no problem to use it.
It could bring your art to life. You will be excited by it when you the first time you draw (i.e., print) a line going straight up into the air and watch it not fall back down. You will experience a thrill that can only be described as awesome.
How it could do this?
Different from normal pen, the 3D printing pen replaces ink with plastic which melts at a high temperature to create a 3D object instead of just an idea on paper.
Use it just like any other kind of pen by drawing normally in the beginning, with the nib pressed to paper, but then you lift it in the air and the pen keeps drawing.
Your hand movements can create the art as the 3D printing pen follows your movement and command as it can be used to draw in the air or on surface as well as tracing objects on paper.
Plug in your 3D Printing Pen and give it about a minute to warm up. Then insert a strand of plastic into the back.Press the speed of your choice, and watch the plastic flow out of the Pen. And then you just draw and connect and fill in and make magic happen.
What kind of plastic it uses?
The strand is ABS or PLA. ABS is mainly for building flexible 3D structures, while PLA is great for doodling on glass or windows and can be semi-transparent.
